Summer weekly walk starts next Wednesday 13th May at 7.30pm from O’Driscolls Bar, Corbally. See directions

Summer long walk at Fanore beach on Sunday 28th June. Meet at Fanore Beach Car Park at 11am. Bring your own unch for a wonderful picnic all together on the beach. The sun will shine for us!

Club closes for the summer on Saturday 27th June and resumes again on September 12th. Come along for a walk and chat at the club before heading for the beach!

The Limerick Walking Association was formed in 1992, making us the oldest walking group in Ireland.

Saturday meeting

On Saturdays after the walks we meet at Na Piarsaigh GAA club for refreshments, chats, Club news and great raffle prizes.

We are very sociable, and do not confine ourselves to walking alone, but have lots of other activities.

Holidays abroad and short breaks are regular and popular events.

We also pride ourselves on the specially arranged Sunday walks, combined with a sociable meal, every month or so.

We are looking for recruits to join in and enjoy walking and socializing with new friends. People of all ages and abilities can join the club, and start walking and talking from week one.
