Spring trip to Trim, Co. Meath from the 31st March to the 3d April. Staying at the Knightsbrook Hotel and Spa for 3 nights. The trip will filled with fun and culture with visits to the Brú na Bóinne Visitor Centre, the Battle of the Boyne Visitor Centre, the Slane Castle and the Trim Castle….

Castlebar Spring Weekend – Thursday 21st to Sunday 24th March 2019
The Spring Weekend Break was to Breaffy House Hotel, Castlebar, and included three trips. These were to:- Cong – a boat trip etc at a cost to members of €10.(half price). Visit to Ackle Island on the bus. Sunday Mass at Knock prior to return journey home.
Theatre event – A Chorus Line – 20th March 2019
MIDAS (Mary Immaculate College Dramatic Art Society celebrates 20 years of musical theatre with the legendary “A Chorus Line” at the Lime Tree Theatre. The club is organizing a night out to view the performance with tickets at the very special price of €10. Read more about this performance.

The club is organizing a night out on Thursday 2nd May 2019 to view “The Country Girls” at the Lime Tree Theatre with with tickets at the discounted price of €25. “The Country Girls” is an Abbey Theatre production of Edna O’Brien’s play where she revisits her era-defining debut novel in a new stage adaptation….
Annual General Meeting – 7th February 2019
The Annual General Meeting was held on Thursday 7th February 2019 at Na Piarsaigh precceded by a special Mass for deceased members and friends at 7.15 pm.
Christmas 2018 celebrations
Christmas was celebrated on 15th December at Na Piarsaigh with carol singing, delicious mince pies and a lot of prizes in a special Xmas raffle. See more photos in the Gallery. The Christmas Party in Ennis on Friday 21st December was a great success, many thanks to organiser Louisa.
7 Bridges Charity Walk 29th April 2018
Our usual Sunday walk start venue was changed from UL to the Lock Bar. This was to coincide with a 5 K charity walk starting and finishing there. It was a beautiful sunny day, and some of our participating members posed on the City Hall Steps at the end.

2017 Annual General Meeting Tuesday 21st November
Our 2017 AGM took place at Na Piarsaigh following a Mass for deceased members. At the close of the meeting Paul O’Connor handed over the Presidency to Doreen Ryan.
